I haven't been posting for a while, maybe because I'm a bit disappointed on the quality of my savage. After I had my gearbox repaired (it rattled alot, and changed gears very rough) the head bolt started leaking oil (had to happen one day ofcourse). Together with the head bolt leak, the head gasket went bad, that's leaking as well. Oil is seeping also from the spot where the speedo-cable emerges from the engine block. Also have I had a sealer-ring replaced that was leaking oil from the belt-drive. I really haven't overfilled the engine with oil, so I don't know what's happening. The only thing I can tell is that the bike overall is in very good shape, and the engine runs like an angel. It just keeps leaking oil from every spot imaginable. Anyone got ideas, or is it just a curse that can only be solved by proper mending?
